Himachal Pradesh Housing Board
The hill state, Himachal Pradesh has implemented the housing board concept late in the year 2004. Himachal Pradesh nagar vikas Pradhikaran which existed before inception of housing board was merged with Himachal Pradesh Housing and Urban Development Authority to deal with development of ventures comprising residential colonies, by the state government of Himachal Pradesh. HIMUDA has planned and successfully implemented many project schemes in the cities like: Shimla, Rohroo, Sunder Nagar, Nahan, Dehra, Dharamsala, Palampur, Kangra, Bangana, Parwanoo, Rampur, Solan, Mandi, Paonta Sahils, Hamirpur, Indore, Kandrori, Una and Baddi.
The encouraging factor for HIMUDA is that there are tourists visiting the hill stations in the state where the residential complexes are given on rental basis all round the calendar. Also himachal Pradesh possesses excellent weather which makes many people come over here in this state to settle. Housing board takes utmost care while finalising the landscape for erecting any residential venture. The designs implemented are planned with long foresight. It has also called for many different schemes to facilitate the growing population in the state. The himachal Pradesh housing board has assumed the objective of serving all income classes which has accounted for the popularity of the housing board in the state in such less time. All classes who are intending to buy flat or exquisite duplexes or bungalows or plots, Himachal Pradesh Housing Board and Development Authority provides required units at an affordable price.
