Chapora beach is almost 10kms from Mapusa, Northern Goa. Chapora fort is considerd to be the magnetism there. Vagator beach and Anjuna beach are the best close by attraction to this place. Those who desire to stay for long term in Goa for them Chapora beach is the best place. The figure of hotels is not much near to the beach but many rented houses for accommodation can be seen which are surrounded by the coconut trees. Many houses built in the dark groves of coconut palms are occupied by the fishing community. It is said the best time to be at this place is from November to March. Chapora is actually among the enthralling elements of the Goan shoreline. On the estuary of Chapora River the village is located. The village is overshadowed by a stony mount where one can also see Portuguese fort which is also known as Chapora fort.

As there are number of restaurants, cafes and other food codes so one can really enjoy the food over here and need not be worry about his survival in this place. Tourists can also avail the facility of post office, cyber cafes, banks, hospitals etc. as they give such facility. There are plenty number of buses that run from Calangute and Mapusa beach to Chapora beach. The KTC bus station is the nearby interstate bus station in Mapusa. Infact there are many buses that come directly from Panjim. Motorcycles and taxis are also available on rent. This is essentially part of a thirty kilometer elongate of beach shoreline down the west shore of Goa by the Arabian ocean that starts from Fort Anguada continues to be as Sinquerim seashore, then becomes as Candolim seashore, and then emerge in to Calangute seashore and then into Baga seashore and after that Anjuna seashore and Vagator beach and lastly ending up at Chapora fort and beach. There are large variety of rented houses and other staying facility which are reasonable too. Visitors can have a look over to the west side of the Chapora main street. It is tempting and exciting holiday destination.
